To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When 叶真辰 fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 天津塘沽区坦克队's protests and gave 叶真辰 a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes 天津塘沽区坦克队 got a freekick which was hit by 叶真辰. 9 minutes into the match, New Britain AF's goal looked a bit too open when 俞青翀 came free, but Alejandro Bliss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 天津塘沽区坦克队's zone, Micah Storey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 肖俊骏 came out of the goal and Micah Storey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 肖俊骏 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Savage in the 22nd minute of the match. If Ruben Copeland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 武平枫 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, 天津塘沽区坦克队's 叶真辰 got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 天津塘沽区坦克队's goalie prevented a goal. Oswaldo Savage was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. New Britain AF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the New Britain AF defense, 叶真辰 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Bliss. The New Britain AF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Bliss should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Savage to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 杨晨超 during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to 天津塘沽区坦克队 getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. 杨晨超 hit a great ball. 肖俊骏 came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Savage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Micah Storey managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Britain AF's supporters rose to their feet, but Micah Storey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 肖俊骏 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 肖俊骏 came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Savage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Micah Storey might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 肖俊骏. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micah Storey ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to 天津塘沽区坦克队 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. 杨晨超 hit a great ball. The New Britain AF fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruben Copeland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. 肖俊骏 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Oswaldo Savage sped through 天津塘沽区坦克队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 肖俊骏. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Savage in the 95th minute of play forced 天津塘沽区坦克队's goalkeeper 肖俊骏 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Britain AF had played much better football throughout.
