Lima FC were furious when Otis Roach was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 32nd minute, one of Lima FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lima FC. Rick Stevens charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rick Stevens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Rudziny's protests and gave Wlodzimierz Bochynski a yellow card for diving instead. Jacek Falke hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lima FC's Rashad Rosen tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lima FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
