Nguyễn Hoang struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Alejandro Bliss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirroni-cum-Moze FC. Marvin Brock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lê Liem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pirroni-cum-Moze FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Phùng Anh Hung hit a great ball. 20 minutes in the game Nguyễn Viet did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Huỳnh Tan. In the 21st minute, Micah Storey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's attentive Phạm Hong managed to snatch the ball when Duane Harman made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Alejandro Bliss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phan Lan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huỳnh Tan's late challenge caught a New Britain AF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huỳnh Tan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, one of Pirroni-cum-Moze FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pirroni-cum-Moze FC. Lê Liem had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Ruben Copeland's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Trương Anh Hung charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Trương Anh Hung the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of New Britain AF booed when Pirroni-cum-Moze FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trương Anh Hung didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Ruben Copeland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, New Britain AF's Oswaldo Savage dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With an all-out effort, New Britain AF's Lê Liem threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oswaldo Savage, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lê Liem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Copeland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswaldo Savage stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Oswaldo Savage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Britain AF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Savage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52nd match minute, New Britain AF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracy Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's Phạm Hong managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tracy Ramos in the 63 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Lan in the 71st minute of play forced New Britain AF's goalkeeper Alejandro Bliss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Britain AF's Tracy Ramos got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Tracy Ramos off the ground. In the 77th minute, Tracy Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Savage took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Liem. Lê Liem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 87 minutes into the match, New Britain AF's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Hoang came free, but Alejandro Bliss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New Britain AF's Marvin Brock quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Huỳnh Tan, made in the 89th minute of the game. Lê Liem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Savage in the 89th minute of the match. Huỳnh Tan made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Phùng Anh Hung. Pirroni-cum-Moze FC's Phan Lan got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
