An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Rooney in the 21st minute of play forced Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalkeeper Isidoro Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Rooney came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Du Jian Chen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Rio.

Isidoro Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wayne Rooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Pekka Rollins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentinean Patriots 1816's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pekka Rollins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Seve Grau came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Mora CAT booed when Argentinean Patriots 1816 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Homøe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
