Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Brujas KV's Codruț Domuță started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renato Portalupi hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Fábio Quilempan scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petruț Dicu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fábio Quilempan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petruț Dicu came out and tried to block the shot, but Fábio Quilempan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute Custódio Lima Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu got control of the ball when Paulo Ezequiel Niz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Custódio Lima Clemente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu got control of the ball when Custódio Lima Clemente tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Petruț Dicu managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Angola's Fábio Quilempan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Custódio Lima Clemente in the 22nd minute of play. Petruț Dicu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Fábio Quilempan sent off a good shot on target. Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Brujas KV from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Renato Portalupi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brujas KV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angola the free kick. The supporters of Angola booed when Brujas KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Portalupi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Angola got a freekick which was hit by Nito Montoia. Petruț Dicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Custódio Lima Clemente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Ezequiel Niz in the 35th minute of play. The corner led Angola's Fábio Quilempan to fire away a dangerous shot which Petruț Dicu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Angola fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Angola's Fábio Quilempan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo Ezequiel Niz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Petruț Dicu made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Ezequiel Niz came free, but Petruț Dicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Angola's Paulo Ezequiel Niz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Dicu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lourenço Polido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Portalupi in the 43rd minute of play. Petruț Dicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Quilempan in the 45th minute. Custódio Lima Clemente hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Torrey Molloy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Polido having to make a save. In the 48th minute Torrey Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Polido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Brujas KV made a substitution. Conrado Romero replaced Torrey Molloy. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Lourenço Polido successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 59 minutes into the match, Codruț Domuță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lourenço Polido. Angola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codruț Domuță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Petruț Dicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ezequiel Niz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Ragıp İkinci got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Angola made a substitution. Afonso Rochedo replaced Paulo Ezequiel Niz. Ragıp İkinci kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Petruț Dicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Quilempan in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Angola getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nito Montoia hit a great ball. The Brujas KV fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Brujas KV's Conrado Romero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Petruț Dicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Fontão in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Fontão in the 94th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Petruț Dicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Fábio Quilempan made a precise shot to the right of Petruț Dicu. Brujas KV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2.
