Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Errando in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Frankfurter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. 赵云 in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Edinson Haaland made the kick off in the second half. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Orling in the 50th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AC LeX Luthor's zone, Roni Ronaldinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Bomba came out of the goal and Roni Ronaldinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Chinese CJ Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 56th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when D.J. 赵云 got free with Frank Frankfurter in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
