The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nickolai Nickerson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harro Meier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by YugiPeeK ✈'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Radu Fetea was slow to take the kick. During this time Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's players had a chance to rest. 10 minutes into the game, Vellito Valsera threw the ball into play from the sideline. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Vladimir Capixaba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, YugiPeeK ✈'s Maxi Moralez got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th match minute, YugiPeeK ✈ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vellito Valsera to maneuver through the defense. Harro Meier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Harro Meier came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Valentin Elg. But to his dismay, Valentin Elg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Harro Meier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 17th minute of play. Vellito Valsera made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kostas Kourtis however managed to control. In the 22nd minute Nickolai Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harro Meier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Nickolai Nickerson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of YugiPeeK ✈'s Harro Meier. Harro Meier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nickolai Nickerson in the 40th minute of play forced YugiPeeK ✈'s goalkeeper Harro Meier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radu Fetea in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's corner Jim Njurenius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Harro Meier quite easily take care of the ball.

The wind increased when Maxi Moralez made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the game Cecilio Jerrold made a throw-in which Maxi Moralez played forward. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxi Moralez in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when YugiPeeK ✈ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti was substituted for Nickolai Nickerson. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Per-Arne Gunnarsson was substituted for Rei Bolas. In the 63rd match minute, YugiPeeK ✈ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Carlo Ancelotti took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Harro Meier to make any attempt to save it. Carlo Ancelotti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harro Meier having to make a save. After 79 played minutes Étoile Sportive Du Sahel got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Elg. 88 minutes into the game, Cecilio Jerrold threw the ball into play from the sideline. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Morgan Möllgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The YugiPeeK ✈ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's performance. The match ended with a win for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel.
