Birk Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Ibáñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, GD Fiães's goal looked a bit too open when Karma Tarich came free, but Cassiano Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, FC Germania Danzig's Thibault Fouillet made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cassiano Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thibault Fouillet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cassiano Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karma Tarich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birk Bodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Brites in the 36th minute of play. Cassiano Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamatis Pegiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. FC Germania Danzig's Thibault Fouillet got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half FC Germania Danzig were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mustafa Numan Zaid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cassiano Mendonça having to interfere. Stamatis Pegiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cassiano Mendonça having to interfere. GD Fiães's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Thibault Fouillet scored to the left of an out of position Cassiano Mendonça, making the score, 0-4. When GD Fiães's Alex Ibáñez in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Germania Danzig's goalie prevented a goal. Birk Bodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Campelo in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Álvaro Campelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Birk Bodin. FC Germania Danzig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro Campelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Birk Bodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amável Quental in the 64th minute of play. Thibault Fouillet struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Cassiano Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Germania Danzig. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibault Fouillet in the 67th minute of play forced GD Fiães's goalkeeper Cassiano Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stamatis Pegiadis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Cassiano Mendonça 77 minutes into the match. FC Germania Danzig's Ubendu Abeitia was substituted for Falko Schlender. Cassiano Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Stamatis Pegiadis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibault Fouillet in the 86th minute of play forced GD Fiães's goalkeeper Cassiano Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birk Bodin came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by GD Fiães's Tobias Brites. But to his dismay, Tobias Brites quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 94th minute Stamatis Pegiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cassiano Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over FC Germania Danzig could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GD Fiães throughout the match.
