The audience thought a goal was coming when Feridun Eronat got free with Serafin Abaurre in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Macerio scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wesley Rush, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 17 minutes, Olly Furlong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olly Furlong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Jerico during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Alberto Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Olly Furlong took a good shot, in the 21st minute, which hit the crossbar above Serafin Abaurre's head, and flew over the goal. Bambisgris's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FC Amsterdam Wanderers. Alberto Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bambisgris getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alberto Arce hit a great ball. Feridun Eronat struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Serafin Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Amsterdam Wanderers. Wesley Rush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Santio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bambisgris reached it. In the 42nd minute, Adrian Rowling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, FC Amsterdam Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Santio came free, but Wesley Rush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, David Love managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but David Love was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Abaurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Abecia to strike the kick off in the second half. Bambisgris's Serafin Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feridun Eronat in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Feridun Eronat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Abaurre was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Serafin Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Love in the 58th minute of play. Adrian Rowling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes FC Amsterdam Wanderers's goalkeeper Wesley Rush managed, with a little bit of luck, save Jorge Macerio's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Jorge Macerio did an outstanding performance 65 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Wesley Rush in the goal. Wesley Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Macerio in the 72nd minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Bambisgris got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Abeita. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Macerio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Rush prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, FC Amsterdam Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Santio came free, but Wesley Rush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Feridun Eronat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bambisgris's Leonardo Lizar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Wesley Rush stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Santio's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When Mick Morris came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Amsterdam Wanderers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mick Morris couldn't finish the play. Feridun Eronat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feridun Eronat, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. David Love sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mick Morris in the 95th minute of the match.
The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bambisgris walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
