After taking down the ball on StardustRevolution's corner Ignacio Ereinotz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joacim First quite easily take care of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Penaru came free, but Joacim First reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uygar Orhan in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joacim First prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Rosen's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Marcos Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Siöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Piara Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim First saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joacim First showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uygar Orhan in the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Rosen to maneuver through the defense. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Santo in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Waldemar Rosen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Burni saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pinhote FC's Joacim First played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Santo in the 25th minute of play. StardustRevolution were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Pinhote FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ignacio Ereinotz took the corner. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Oto in the 36th minute of play. Marcos Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Uygar Orhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Holger Siöberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Waldemar Rosen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Burni was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Piara Santo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the StardustRevolution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piara Santo couldn't finish the play. StardustRevolution's Eduardo Vasco was substituted for Delmiro Oto. StardustRevolution made a substitution. Nacho Scocco replaced Uygar Orhan. StardustRevolution made a substitution. Gabriel Batistuta replaced Piara Santo. Pinhote FC's Waldemar Rosen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Burni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastião Andrade made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sílvio Luís Ceresso however managed to control. Joacim First made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Batistuta in the 91st minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Gabriel Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StardustRevolution's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
