After a defensive mix-up in 26 de junio's zone, Saul Silvanito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Cutberto came out of the goal and Saul Silvanito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, David de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute 26 de junio were awarded a corner. Gavino Lobo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gavino Lobo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Máximo Portero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Máximo Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idar Dyrstad in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amelie FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gavino Lobo was slow to take the kick. During this time 26 de junio's players had a chance to rest. Will Budden hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when David de Alcântara sped through Amelie FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Máximo Portero. In the 32nd minute Melquiades Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match 26 de junio got a corner. Amelie FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gavino Lobo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, 26 de junio's Will Budden got a free kick in the 39th minute. Melquiades Guzman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, 26 de junio's Aquilino Odilon got a free kick in the 46th minute. Aquilino Odilon thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Donato Cutberto, a very annoying self made goal in the 48th minute which led to 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David de Alcântara to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Victorio Honrio in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 26 de junio's Will Budden. After a rather tough play, 26 de junio's Will Budden got a free kick in the 60th minute. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Millano in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game David de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amelie FC's Máximo Portero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goalkeeper Máximo Portero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David de Alcântara. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by 26 de junio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mugurel Ghiță was slow to take the kick. During this time Amelie FC's players had a chance to rest. Jesus Lapurdi thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Donato Cutberto, a very annoying self made goal in the 73rd minute which led to 3-1. The supporters of Amelie FC booed when 26 de junio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Budden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Evangelista kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. David de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Máximo Portero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, David de Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Máximo Portero. Amelie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David de Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Máximo Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 de junio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
