The Borussia Steel F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Moreno should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Erasmo Simão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Moreno. With an all-out effort, Grentino FC's Eusébio Moreno threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erasmo Simão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Válter Baiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válter Baiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusébio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Simão in the 93rd minute of play. Grentino FC's Amadeu de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's Gualter Sampaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusébio Moreno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Erasmo Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Grentino FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borussia Steel F.C.
