Donato Cutberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Francesco in the 5th minute. David Cordarius made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alvaro Martxot immediately put the ball in play. When Will Budden fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 26 de junio's protests and gave Will Budden a yellow card for diving instead. Will Budden kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. David de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Victorino Gaufred stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David de Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. David Cordarius made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alvaro Martxot. In the 18th minute, David Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Gaufred didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David de Alcântara went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Alvaro Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, 26 de junio's Donato Cutberto got control of the ball when Amadeo Francesco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Amadeo Francesco came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Piratas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Francesco couldn't finish the play. In the 45thth minute of the game David de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 minutes, David Cordarius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piratas FC and the 26 de junio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 26 de junio booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Alvaro Martxot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 26 de junio the free kick. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alvaro Martxot hit a great ball. With a little luck, Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred got control of the ball when David de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David de Alcântara in the 57th minute of play. David Cordarius made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alvaro Martxot. In the 62nd minute, one of Piratas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piratas FC. Piratas FC:s Victorino Gaufred showed great skill when he stopped Gavino Lobo:s penalty. Victorino Gaufred came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by 26 de junio's Gavino Lobo. But to his dismay, Gavino Lobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, David de Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Victorino Gaufred to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Teodoro Casomiro hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, David de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 26 de junio's supporters crossed their fingers, but David de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78thth minute of the game David de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Lobo made a great header on 26 de junio's corner, it was just that Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred managed to reach the ball for a save. Gavino Lobo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Victorino Gaufred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 26 de junio. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Florentino Sendoa fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas FC's protests and gave Florentino Sendoa a yellow card for diving instead. The 26 de junio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 26 de junio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
