Francana's Charlie Boström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Bergsten came free, but Acácio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Elliott Bergsten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acácio Lara. Club Athletico Paulistano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliott Bergsten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 15th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Club Athletico Paulistano from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabinho dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho dos Santos in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Melo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. Fabinho dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Boström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Koenig to maneuver through the defense. In the 51st minute, Fabinho dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Renan Melo. A.A. Francana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Acácio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Boström in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Club Athletico Paulistano getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ezequiel Mineiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Bergsten in the 62nd minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Elliott Bergsten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A. Francana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho dos Santos in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68thth minute of the game Fabinho dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Charlie Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Athletico Paulistano's Caetano Pelé got a free kick in the 78th minute. Rafinha Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Mendes. When Elliott Bergsten came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the A.A. Francana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliott Bergsten couldn't finish the play.
