Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Ramalho started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 5th minute of play forced Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Jeferson de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Ramalho in the 6th minute of play. Alfredo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson de Queirós having to interfere. Jeferson de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Martins in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Koehler in the 13th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when Ligeiro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moussa Kabre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeferson de Queirós came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's German Cano. But to his dismay, German Cano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel got control of the ball when Cristian Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marquês de Herval were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ligeiro F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moussa Kabre took the corner. After taking down the ball on Marquês de Herval's corner Moussa Kabre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeferson de Queirós quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Koehler hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ligeiro F.C's Jeferson de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, one of Marquês de Herval:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dida Taffarel had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Adelino Ramalho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Rodolfo Trancoso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Dorian Moraes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeferson de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Amorim. After 45 played minutes, Marquês de Herval's Moussa Kabre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeferson de Queirós came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marquês de Herval reached it. Jeferson de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorian Moraes went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Moraes made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Moraes got free with Jeferson de Queirós in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adelino Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeferson de Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dorian Moraes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Ramalho in the 65th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeferson de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorian Moraes in the 68th minute. In the 78th play minute Dorian Moraes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jeferson de Queirós. 0-7. Marquês de Herval's German Cano got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Marquês de Herval's Dorian Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeferson de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. If Dorian Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Gaston Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
