A collision led to Alvi Verde getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Piarres Cabredo hit a great ball. Leandro Heidemann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Roman Koenig took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Téo Leite to make any attempt to save it. In the 48th minute, Charlie Boström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A. Francana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Boström to make the kick off. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leandro Heidemann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Melo having to make a save. With a little luck, A.A. Francana's Renan Melo got control of the ball when Leandro Heidemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute Charlie Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Téo Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Leandro Heidemann took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Renan Melo to make any attempt to save it. Alvi Verde's Rodolfo Perfecto was substituted for Wilbert Ugalde. Leandro Heidemann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Renan Melo made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alvi Verde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
