Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Simões in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Demetrio Ubriaco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Marquês de Herval booed when Toa Toa 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Toa Toa 4EVER's Róbson Simões made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbson Simões in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The supporters of Toa Toa 4EVER booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Cano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar van der Woude in the 39th minute of the match. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Simões in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when German Cano came free, but Túlio Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gao Xiang Guang kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Ahmet Yahya Burçak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Martins was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Dorian Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Marquês de Herval's Lorenzo Mendebal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo Mendebal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Marquês de Herval protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo Mendebal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute, Lorenzo Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dida Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Bartlett in the 66th minute. Ahmet Yahya Burçak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dida Taffarel came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Yahya Burçak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Ubriaco in the 78th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Moraes came free, but Túlio Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Ubriaco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Toa Toa 4EVER eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
