In the 44th minute, Geovani Sanches made a precise shot to the right of Renan Melo. A.A. Francana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Maicon Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Jereba 4EVER were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
A collision led to Jereba 4EVER getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Enio Terra hit a great ball. Geovani Sanches might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Sanches ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute Geovani Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jereba 4EVER's Maicon Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Koenig in the 59th minute of play. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enio Linares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Renan Melo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Charlie Boström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Trevisan. Jereba 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charlie Boström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Maicon Trevisan came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by A.A. Francana's Roman Koenig. But to his dismay, Roman Koenig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save A.A. Francana from getting a goal against them. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.A. Francana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
