Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Medeiros in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Pelé came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Daniel Owsiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Acácio Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27thth minute of the game Fabinho dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite this Acácio Lara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Vergílio in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Breno Vergílio made a precise shot to the right of Acácio Lara. Club Athletico Paulistano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
