The corner ended in Lando Norin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Nove Unax did a great save. Que se abra o mar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lando Norin in the 9th minute. The corner led Que se abra o mar's Lando Norin to fire away a dangerous shot which Nove Unax despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Que se abra o mar getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Noel Perez hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Tato Vega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Que se abra o mar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Hellsing in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henning Pähle got free with Sandro Tepedino in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tato Vega to make the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match Que se abra o mar got a corner. Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lando Norin ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Nove Unax got control of the ball when Tato Vega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albertinho Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes Que se abra o mar got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Mangueira. In the 73rd match minute, Que se abra o mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Van Elsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nove Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Nove Unax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Corinthos Manuela F.C. from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Hellsing came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Nove Unax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthos Manuela F.C. from getting a goal against them. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 91st minute, but Nove Unax got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Corinthos Manuela F.C. hanging dry this time. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s zone, Tommy Van Elsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nove Unax came out of the goal and Tommy Van Elsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Que se abra o mar made a substitution. Tomas Lewandowski replaced Tato Vega. The Que se abra o mar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
