An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Pereira in the 3rd minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Amílton Pereira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso. Glauco Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amílton Pereira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glauco Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Amílton Pereira slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Aníbal Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Queirós in the 19th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Doni Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shark FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Leão in the 26th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Shark FC - FSCMZ booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílton Pereira got free with Glauco Velloso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glauco Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Pereira in the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso got control of the ball when Amílton Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gu Zhan Wei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldemar Vergílio went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doni Queirós to make the kick off. The supporters of Academia Santista CIMZ booed when Shark FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Sharkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Felipe Nerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Glauco Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Vergílio. In the 65th minute of the match, Doni Queirós tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gu Zhan Wei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Queirós in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Nerio in the 70th minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Nerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Erasmo de Azevedo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Dedé Pimenta got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Amílton Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glauco Velloso. Shark FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílton Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Waldemar Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gu Zhan Wei made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvinho Peixoto during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Silvinho Peixoto hit a great ball. If Waldemar Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Nerio in the 91st minute of play. Glauco Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Nerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Nerio took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Velloso. Glauco Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Academia Santista CIMZ were furious when Erasmo de Azevedo was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Academia Santista CIMZ had won after a very even match.
