The audience was convinced that Tato Vega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluigi Buffon was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Patrick Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. One of Apocalipse FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Que se abra o mar:s goal. If Tato Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tato Vega scored 0-8 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gianluigi Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gianluigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tato Vega sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Tato Vega could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Gianluigi Buffon however easily saved by the left post. Tato Vega struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Tato Vega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gianluigi Buffon made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tato Vega in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gianluigi Buffon saved Apocalipse FC from getting behind. In the 73rd minute of the match, Tato Vega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gianluigi Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 75 played minutes Que se abra o mar got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Eriksson. Que se abra o mar made a substitution. Tommy Van Elsen replaced Albertinho Andrade. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Gianluigi Buffon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nico Alcântara hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Apocalipse FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Que se abra o mar's performance. The match ended with a win for Que se abra o mar.
