The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sandro Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 8th minute of the match. Tato Vega in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Errapel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Errapel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tato Vega in the 16th minute. Jonathan Errapel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tato Vega in the 19th minute. Sandro Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Transito in the 23rd minute of play. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel got control of the ball when Tato Vega tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Thomas in the 42nd minute of play forced Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Sandro Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tato Vega got free with Jonathan Errapel in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Lando Norin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Errapel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hayrullah Atikoğlu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 48th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Cordeiro made a kick off. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tato Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Andrade came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Nabar hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tato Vega, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Tato Vega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Errapel. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Errapel should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Tepedino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Eriksson in the 73rd minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tato Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega. But to his dismay, Tato Vega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Que se abra o mar made a substitution. Tommy Van Elsen replaced Albertinho Andrade. Sandro Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Transito in the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Thomas got free with Sandro Tepedino in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when Que se abra o mar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Que se abra o mar made a substitution. Tomas Lewandowski replaced Tato Vega. When the referee ended the match the Que se abra o mar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
