The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Amílton Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Rigoberto Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Amílton Pereira hit a great ball. 20 minutes in the game Aníbal Rosado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amílton Pereira. Felipe Nerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Errapel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Nerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipe Nerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Errapel made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Maradona's zone, Felipe Nerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal and Felipe Nerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Rigoberto Thomas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimir Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Errapel having to interfere. Vladimir Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jonathan Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Felipe Nerio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The corner led Santa Maradona's Hakkı Kenan Ushan to fire away a dangerous shot which Gu Zhan Wei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia Santista CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Martxot was slow to take the kick. During this time Santa Maradona's players had a chance to rest. Rigoberto Thomas in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Santa Maradona's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Academia Santista CIMZ had won, even though Santa Maradona had held more of the ball.
