Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clóvis Motta during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clóvis Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Luizinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Loyola having to interfere. Cristian Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Neto having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Maia during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Raúl Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guto Gomes in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willian Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Xavier in the 36th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Raúl Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Luizinho Xavier. But to his dismay, Luizinho Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Willian Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Xavier in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Guto Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cristian Duarte made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Guto Gomes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willian Loyola. That made the score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. Luizinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Loyola having to interfere. Willian Loyola was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Luizinho Xavier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luizinho Xavier really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
