Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toninho Madureira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BOTAFOGO's zone, Adrián Espadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Taraborrelli came out of the goal and Adrián Espadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Adrián Espadas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfonso Taraborrelli, 1-0. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Édouard Deloge in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Norberto Liberato got a free kick in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfonso Taraborrelli. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 16th minute, Adrián Espadas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Madureira came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Amador Venceslao hit a great ball. Jaanek Oese might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Wennerqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaanek Oese ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrián Espadas took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Taraborrelli. Alfonso Taraborrelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gustavo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Taraborrelli having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, BOTAFOGO's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Neiva came free, but Alfonso Taraborrelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Adrián Espadas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrián Espadas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Taraborrelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrián Espadas ran back to his position shaking his head. BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save BOTAFOGO from getting a goal against them. Hernan Lano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Taraborrelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. Alfonso Taraborrelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to BOTAFOGO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jano Saraiva hit a great ball. Alfonso Taraborrelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 58th minute of play. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Romulo Thomas replaced Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Venceslao in the 67th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Édouard Deloge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dan Wennerqvist. That made the score 5-1 in the 68 minute of play. Alfonso Taraborrelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Claudinei Sanches in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soroca F.C.'s Cyprien Combaz. 79 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Taraborrelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 86th minute, Răzvan Necula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Cássio Zonta got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, BOTAFOGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Sanches to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Taraborrelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Claudinei Sanches threw the ball into play from the sideline. Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 93 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Taraborrelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Taraborrelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Soroca F.C. were the better team. Soroca F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
