Alexandre Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alfred Chmelyk struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Alexandre Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumaré Sport Club. When Laércio Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Beneficiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Sidney Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Richard Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Beneficiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 巩沙谦 to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Zé Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beneficiente's Alexandre Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Laércio Aguiar in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sumaré Sport Club's Oswaldo Furlan. Laércio Aguiar hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Zé Trigo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Couto. Alexandre Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 47 minutes into the game, Sidney Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Richard Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Beneficiente players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sumaré Sport Club were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Alfred Chmelyk made the kick off in the second half. Ciro Luke hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Richard Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beneficiente were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Sumaré Sport Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Appel took the corner. Beneficiente's Edgar Appel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richard Fontes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Edgar Appel fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beneficiente's protests and gave Edgar Appel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute of the match, 苏庭枫 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandre Couto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 63rd match minute, Beneficiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mebarek El-Hadi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 苏庭枫 in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laércio Aguiar's late challenge caught a Sumaré Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laércio Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. Laércio Aguiar hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Alexandre Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Trigo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Zé Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Alexandre Couto made a huge save. With his leg Alexandre Couto managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Dida Senna fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beneficiente's protests and gave Dida Senna a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Beneficiente's Dida Senna got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute Alfred Chmelyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Beneficiente's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Brun came free, but Alexandre Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
