Lütfi Kutlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ismael de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Burak Onal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay got control of the ball when Rafinha Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Rzegotka in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Chiquinho Pombal notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to S.E. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Chiquinho Pombal sped through S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 84th minute Chiquinho Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.E. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Chiquinho Pombal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
