Dagoberto Loureiro came out of the goal and Ivo de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cöpacabana FC's Dagoberto Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Viana in the 15th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cöpacabana FC's Cayetano Osoitz threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vito Leite, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Cöpacabana FC's Vito Leite in 18 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cayetano Osoitz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Cayetano Osoitz made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Dobromir Brudnicki sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's Cayetano Osoitz got control of the ball when Dobromir Brudnicki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cöpacabana FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Talha İstanbul took the corner. Cöpacabana FC's Talha İstanbul got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dobromir Brudnicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cayetano Osoitz made a huge save. Vito Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cayetano Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's goalkeeper Cayetano Osoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Talha İstanbul. Gildo Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Leite in the 44th minute of the match. ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ made a substitution. Segundo Tiso replaced Ivo de Castro.

The wind increased when Gildo Miranda made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's goalkeeper Cayetano Osoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Leite in the 55th minute of play forced ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's goalkeeper Cayetano Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Leite in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Osoitz saved ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ from getting behind. Cayetano Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Mangueira. A collision led to ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Waldemar Mangueira hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's goal looked a bit too open when Talha İstanbul came free, but Cayetano Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Benet in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Osoitz saved ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ from getting behind. When Cöpacabana FC's Talha İstanbul, in the 79th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cöpacabana FC. 82 minutes into the game, Dobromir Brudnicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cayetano Osoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's zone, Dobromir Brudnicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Osoitz came out of the goal and Dobromir Brudnicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ defense, Stig-Åke Benet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Osoitz. The ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Osoitz should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Dobromir Brudnicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cöpacabana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dobromir Brudnicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Osoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
