An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Cosme in the 18th minute of play forced Beneficiente's goalkeeper Alexandre Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Beneficiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 巩沙谦 to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Éloi Le Calvez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Luís Guilherme Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Rathmore Lime Tree's Georges Labarthe was substituted for Paul-Henri Gayraud. After having played for 64 minutes, Luís Guilherme Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beneficiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. 巩沙谦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
