Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Talha İstanbul in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofyane Valognes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes Rathmore Lime Tree's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Talha İstanbul who took care of the corner kick. Sofyane Valognes was a little too slow when Dobromir Brudnicki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cöpacabana FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Talha İstanbul in the 25th minute. Harald Boman made a great header on Cöpacabana FC's corner, it was just that Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes managed to reach the ball for a save. Talha İstanbul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sofyane Valognes made a huge save. Sofyane Valognes made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Beto Braga sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Vito Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cöpacabana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Leite in the 45th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cöpacabana FC's Talha İstanbul got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Leite to make the kick off. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's Karim Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Loureiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adil Magaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talha İstanbul in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rathmore Lime Tree defense, Dobromir Brudnicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Jim Belloir. Talha İstanbul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sofyane Valognes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talha İstanbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Sofyane Valognes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Talha İstanbul went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Sofyane Valognes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éloi Le Calvez to maneuver through the defense. Cöpacabana FC's Talha İstanbul got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cöpacabana FC fully deserved thier win.
