The audience thought a goal was coming when Vágner Lago got free with Ahmad Reza Asadi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmad Reza Asadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 19th minute of the match. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onuralp Ergüden in the 20th minute of the match. Santos Campineiro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonathan Orlandus in the 21st minute. Jonathan Orlandus made a great header on Santos Campineiro's corner, it was just that Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu managed to reach the ball for a save. After 22 played minutes Santos Campineiro got a freekick which was hit by Onuralp Ergüden. Ahmad Reza Asadi came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow. But to his dismay, Tobiasz Rostow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 27th minute Onuralp Ergüden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kléber Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmad Reza Asadi came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow. But to his dismay, Tobiasz Rostow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Campineiro's zone, Vágner Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmad Reza Asadi came out of the goal and Vágner Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Anibal Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos Campineiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Enekoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marian Rydz during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marian Rydz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onuralp Ergüden in the 43rd minute of play. Ahmad Reza Asadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Watarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Master Champion BMX Flat's goal looked a bit too open when Onuralp Ergüden came free, but Nicolae Ceaușescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Santos Campineiro's Sidnei Baptista was substituted for Onuralp Ergüden. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobiasz Rostow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Rostow in the 54th minute of play forced Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Tobiasz Rostow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmad Reza Asadi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Nicolae Ceaușescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58thth minute of the game Sidney Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes Master Champion BMX Flat got a freekick which was hit by Iqbal Faturrahman. In the 64th minute Sidnei Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Master Champion BMX Flat's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Albuquerque came free, but Nicolae Ceaușescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maicon da Silva hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Santos Campineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Lago came free, but Ahmad Reza Asadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Nicolae Ceaușescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos Campineiro's goalie prevented a goal. Fabrício Baloy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Nicolae Ceaușescu made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, Sidney Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos Campineiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Master Champion BMX Flat the free kick. A collision led to Santos Campineiro getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sidney Albuquerque hit a great ball. Fabrício Baloy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Nicolae Ceaușescu made a huge save. Anibal Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Campineiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
