AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Flack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeffrey Postolan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Federico Zanetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barney Flack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Bubu Denat scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barney Flack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th match minute, Tynemouth Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Hazell to maneuver through the defense. Barney Flack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bubu Denat in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Bubu Denat made a precise shot to the right of Barney Flack. Tynemouth Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. David Ballester made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tynemouth Wanderers's Archie Kenna. 20 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalkeeper Alejandro Verdu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bob Sandell. The F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 30 minutes into the game, Pierre Gould was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tynemouth Wanderers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA the free kick. Pierre Gould hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Bob Sandell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alejandro Verdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Bubu Denat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barney Flack. Tynemouth Wanderers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bubu Denat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After having played for 39 minutes, Bubu Denat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bubu Denat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bubu Denat took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barney Flack. Barney Flack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A collision led to F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Bubu Denat hit a great ball. After the first half F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pierre Gould stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Bubu Denat made a precise shot to the right of Barney Flack. Tynemouth Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 57 minutes into the match, Federico Zanetti notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Tynemouth Wanderers's Barney Flack. Barney Flack was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Federico Zanetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Flack having to interfere. The supporters of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA booed when Tynemouth Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keanu Sollit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marino Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Flack having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Tynemouth Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Bubu Denat came free, but Barney Flack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA were awarded a corner. Marino Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Bubu Denat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barney Flack was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Barney Flack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marino Ramos in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Tynemouth Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Postolan to maneuver through the defense. Tynemouth Wanderers made a substitution. Brian Broom replaced Keanu Sollit. Jeffrey Postolan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Bubu Denat struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Barney Flack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA. With a little luck, Tynemouth Wanderers's Barney Flack got control of the ball when Antoni Villarroel tried to sneak it across the goal line. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Alejandro Verdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Sandell in the 80th minute of play. Barney Flack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bubu Denat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tynemouth Wanderers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gică Popescu was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's players had a chance to rest. Barney Flack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bubu Denat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Lluis Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
