Birsel Keskinel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 狄旭适 having to make a save. 狄旭适 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birsel Keskinel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Salles's late challenge caught a Cide Spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans-Petter Hol made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Durval Salles. Birsel Keskinel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 狄旭适 having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cide Spor's zone, Runar Myrland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Fagondo came out of the goal and Runar Myrland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yakup Kadri Yezid who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of 狄旭适 when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
