An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Marques in the 12th minute of play forced MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's goalkeeper Ali Orhan Tuncer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piotr Rybak couldn't finish the play. Waldemar Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alptuğ Boğataş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Bai Kun Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Orhan Tuncer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Piotr Rybak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Ali Orhan Tuncer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waldemar Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Behiç Güneş in the 28th minute. A collision led to MAVİ İSTANBUL FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. The Voyager Soccer Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alptuğ Boğataş made a kick off. Waldemar Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Behiç Güneş went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Voyager Soccer Team's Ali Orhan Tuncer threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Piotr Rybak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piotr Rybak in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Orhan Tuncer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute of the match Voyager Soccer Team got a corner. MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bai Kun Yang ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Ali Orhan Tuncer got control of the ball when Piotr Rybak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MAVİ İSTANBUL FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Voyager Soccer Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
