SC Casinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schutzstaffel the free kick. Schutzstaffel's João Santana was substituted for William Pimenta. In the 10th match minute, SC Casinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gastão Delgado to maneuver through the defense. Tadeu de Andrade was a little too slow when Gentil Calado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. Virgílio Amado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 28 played minutes SC Casinha got a freekick which was hit by Gastão Delgado. In the 31st minute Hélder de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Amado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Gentil Calado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Schutzstaffel fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Schutzstaffel's Hélder de Queiroz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd minute Gentil Calado suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 72 minutes, João Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schutzstaffel and the SC Casinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Schutzstaffel getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. SC Casinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SC Casinha booed when Schutzstaffel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Pires took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tadeu de Andrade. Schutzstaffel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Schutzstaffel's Tadeu de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Pacheco in the 96th minute of play.
