The referee showed Anacleto Eleder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, one of Chapita FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chapita FC. Chapita FC:s Joel Cisco showed great skill when he stopped Isidro Lleir:s penalty. If Aquilino Haimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Cristo Jacindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tilingo FC the free kick. A collision led to Chapita FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristo Jacindo hit a great ball. Joel Cisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Lleir in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Asur got free with Joel Cisco in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Dabi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Bernabe Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Tilingo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Lleir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
