The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Daniel Semeghin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carnaval Canalla FC's Eleuterio Qwinton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Argoitz in the 11th minute of play forced Arsenal Tunari's goalkeeper Eliodor Mardarescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Arsenal Tunari's Eliodor Mardarescu got control of the ball when Angelo Galtero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliodor Mardarescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Argoitz's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Carnaval Canalla FC's Eleuterio Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Marioteanu in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Tudor Marioteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal Tunari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Marioteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Tunari's Remus Amărculesei got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Arsenal Tunari's goalkeeper Eliodor Mardarescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Lekubegi. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Arsenal Tunari getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Petre Pânzaru hit a great ball. If Felix Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Felix Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Mardarescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Carnaval Canalla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Qwinton stood somewhat misplaced when Tudor Marioteanu came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Felix Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Mardarescu having to interfere. Eliodor Mardarescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Daniel Semeghin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carnaval Canalla FC's Felix Lekubegi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Felix Lekubegi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliodor Mardarescu was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The supporters of Carnaval Canalla FC booed when Arsenal Tunari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Pânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliodor Mardarescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Primitivo Argoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliodor Mardarescu having to make a save. Primitivo Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Mardarescu having to interfere. Felix Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliodor Mardarescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Arsenal Tunari's Daniel Semeghin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eleuterio Qwinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Arsenal Tunari players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
