After a rather tough play, Iliuta FC's Ferdinand Odobescu got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Hélder de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantin Ignătescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristi Gaiță during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Iliuta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Gaiță to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Iliuta FC's Constantin Ignătescu got control of the ball when Gualter Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantin Ignătescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder de Queiroz in the 35th minute of play forced Iliuta FC's goalkeeper Constantin Ignătescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Schutzstaffel booed when Iliuta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Odobescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder de Queiroz got free with Constantin Ignătescu in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélder de Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Schutzstaffel's Hélder de Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantin Ignătescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After 59 played minutes Schutzstaffel got a freekick which was hit by João Santana. Carlos Fernando Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iliuta FC's Constantin Ignătescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder de Queiroz in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Aírton Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schutzstaffel and the Iliuta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute Hélder de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Ignătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gualter Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schutzstaffel's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Ignătescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iliuta FC's Ilie Tomoioagă got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Ilie Tomoioagă off the ground. After 88 played minutes Iliuta FC got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Tomoioagă. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Carlos Fernando Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schutzstaffel's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
