When Ubaldo Bastiaro fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yacanto FC's protests and gave Ubaldo Bastiaro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Andelin's Dé Vergílio got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Yacanto FC booed when Andelin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Bastiaro in the 28th minute of play. Bernabe Fonda hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Bastiaro in the 33rd minute of play. Edgard Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Igor Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Bastiaro took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Maciel. Igor Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edgard Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Igor Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Matxin's late challenge caught a Andelin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Matxin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Adalberto Sá sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yacanto FC's Eulalio Orlondon didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the Yacanto FC defense, Emerson Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Orlondon. The Yacanto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Orlondon should have stopped the shot. Eulalio Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho de Sousa in the 58th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Yacanto FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Fonda. Igor Maciel made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Edgard Muc sent off a good shot on target. If Bernardino Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emerson Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Orlondon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dé Vergílio during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Andelin getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Dé Vergílio hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Ubaldo Bastiaro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 86th minute of the match Dé Vergílio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Orlondon skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Igor Maciel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yacanto FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
