In the 13th minute, Xeromo Bascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Garrapato getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Urdaspal Maceira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho de Sousa in the 15th minute of play forced Garrapato's goalkeeper Bidun Adrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xeromo Bascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Xeromo Bascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrapato's supporters rose to their feet, but Xeromo Bascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ximun Toro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emerson Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bidun Adrian having to make a save. The supporters of Garrapato booed when Andelin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball.
