But to his dismay, Bernardo Sarratea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Emerson Perez came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Helder Bachicabo could save by the left post. In the 16th minute of the match Andelin got a corner. Jayanquillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adalberto Sá ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Andelin's corner Adalberto Sá fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Helder Bachicabo quite easily take care of the ball. Igor Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claris Santayana in the 17th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Andelin's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Sarratea came free, but Igor Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claris Santayana in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Maciel saved Andelin from getting behind. Andelin's Igor Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claris Santayana in the 39th minute of play. Emerson Perez scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helder Bachicabo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emerson Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claris Santayana was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Andelin getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Marinho hit a great ball. Rubinho de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helder Bachicabo having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Jayanquillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonsalvo Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, Jayanquillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Labrada to maneuver through the defense. If Emerson Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee showed Jonas Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Nascimento hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Sarratea got free with Igor Maciel in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Andelin had played much better football throughout.
