Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Costel Botgros took the kick off in the first half of the match. Puerta de hierro FC's Amadeo Salamon got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Gaiță in the 5th minute of play. When Tomas Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puerta de hierro FC's protests and gave Tomas Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Tomas Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Băieșu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Băieșu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Iliuta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Băieșu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 9 minutes, Ildefonso Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puerta de hierro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Mateus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristi Gaiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Tulio having to interfere. Benicio Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Gaiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Constantin Ignătescu managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Puerta de hierro FC's Ildefonso Mateus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benicio Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Gaiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Cristi Gaiță elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 24th minute Ildefonso Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Ignătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codrin Braniște charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Codrin Braniște the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 27 minutes into the game, Cristi Gaiță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benicio Tulio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ildefonso Mateus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Ignătescu having to make a save. When Ildefonso Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Puerta de hierro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Mateus couldn't finish the play. Constantin Ignătescu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amadeo Salamon. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Mateus got free with Constantin Ignătescu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Mateus made a kick off. Costel Botgros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Benicio Tulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Tomas Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Vătavu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benicio Tulio. Puerta de hierro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Constantin Ignătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Salamon in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ildefonso Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerta de hierro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Mateus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Ignătescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeo Salamon took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Ignătescu. Constantin Ignătescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Amadeo Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Iliuta FC booed when Puerta de hierro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Felix Vătavu from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Benicio Tulio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Puerta de hierro FC's Amadeo Salamon got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Amadeo Salamon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puerta de hierro FC and the Iliuta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benicio Tulio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Gaiță, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Silvio Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Omar Sesuldo's late challenge caught a Iliuta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Sesuldo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Puerta de hierro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Iliuta FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
