After the first half Chelsea F were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Horacio Cloyo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carnaval Canalla FC's protests and gave Horacio Cloyo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Bobby Conklin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chelsea F played a much better game than Carnaval Canalla FC and deserved their victory. The Carnaval Canalla FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
