The tension between the Garrapato and the Carnaval Canalla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Garrapato's Bidun Adrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Argoitz in the 8th minute of play. If Primitivo Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Carnaval Canalla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximun Toro came free, but Eleuterio Qwinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Argoitz in the 14th minute of play forced Garrapato's goalkeeper Bidun Adrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Argoitz's late challenge caught a Garrapato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Argoitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Carnaval Canalla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Argoitz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ximun Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Qwinton was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Garrapato's Denis Cuello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 35th minute, Urdaspal Maceira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Garrapato got a freekick which was hit by Urdaspal Maceira. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garrapato fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! 43 minutes into the match, Carnaval Canalla FC's Primitivo Argoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bidun Adrian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ximun Toro made a kick off. Ximun Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eleuterio Qwinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximun Toro in the 55th minute of play forced Carnaval Canalla FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Qwinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Lekubegi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bidun Adrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carnaval Canalla FC's Eleuterio Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximun Toro in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Xeromo Bascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrapato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xeromo Bascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Primitivo Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carnaval Canalla FC booed when Garrapato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zemario Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Garrapato getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ximun Toro hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes, Garrapato's Sauveur Ayensa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleuterio Qwinton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garrapato reached it. Felix Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garrapato succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carnaval Canalla FC had controlled the match.
