The SC Casinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Casinha's Gentil Calado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Lind. That made the score 2-1 after 23 minutes of play. Louie Lefler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Grosse Pointe Farms's Kyle Whitmore got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Serafim Pacheco hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Benito Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gastão Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Grosse Pointe Farms were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC Casinha to leave the ground with a draw.
