Eulalio Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Benicio Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Daniel Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benicio Tulio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amadeo Salamon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Orlondon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Playo in the 33rd minute of play forced Puerta de hierro FC's goalkeeper Benicio Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Playo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Silverio Playo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Puerta de hierro FC's Benicio Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Playo in the 45th minute of play. Silverio Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Playo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yacanto FC's goalkeeper Eulalio Orlondon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Amadeo Salamon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puerta de hierro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Silverio Playo sped through Puerta de hierro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benicio Tulio. Eulalio Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Salamon in the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Playo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Tulio saved Puerta de hierro FC from getting behind. If Daniel Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Muc's late challenge caught a Puerta de hierro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Muc helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Muc hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Silverio Playo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Tulio was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Edgard Muc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yacanto FC played a much better game than Puerta de hierro FC and deserved their victory. The Puerta de hierro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
