The supporters of Jayanquillo booed when Grosse Pointe Farms was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Moses didn't get a good kick on the ball. Len Springer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Helder Bachicabo came out and tried to block the shot, but Len Springer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Len Springer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes, Paulo Labrada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jayanquillo and the Grosse Pointe Farms players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kyle Whitmore was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Grosse Pointe Farms's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benito Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonsalvo Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Len Springer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Helder Bachicabo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grosse Pointe Farms's Kyle Whitmore got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quico Bañuelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kyle Whitmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Grosse Pointe Farms's Len Springer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helder Bachicabo. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. After 36 played minutes Len Springer rounded Jayanquillo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 39thth minute of the game Len Springer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jayanquillo's Helder Bachicabo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Labrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gonsalvo Sanchez's late challenge caught a Grosse Pointe Farms's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonsalvo Sanchez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jayanquillo's Gonsalvo Sanchez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Helder Bachicabo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Len Springer went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claris Santayana to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claris Santayana, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Kyle Whitmore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grosse Pointe Farms's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Whitmore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helder Bachicabo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Deon Shelton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Len Springer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grosse Pointe Farms's supporters rose to their feet, but Len Springer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helder Bachicabo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claris Santayana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonsalvo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Len Springer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helder Bachicabo. Jayanquillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Len Springer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Helder Bachicabo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Whitmore in the 81st minute of play. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Len Springer in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helder Bachicabo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Len Springer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grosse Pointe Farms's supporters crossed their fingers, but Len Springer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
