Felix Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 played minutes SC Casinha got a freekick which was hit by Quintino Guimarães. Carnaval Canalla FC's Eleuterio Qwinton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Carnaval Canalla FC from getting a goal against them. Gentil Calado struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Eleuterio Qwinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Casinha. If Felix Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Felix Lekubegi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quintino Guimarães during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Quintino Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Qwinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Calado in the 25th minute of the match. Primitivo Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Virgílio Amado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Amado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Qwinton made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Serafim Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Gentil Calado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eleuterio Qwinton, 2-0. Felix Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgílio Amado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Argoitz made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Lekubegi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Felix Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Carnaval Canalla FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Galtero. 59 minutes into the match, Serafim Pacheco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Qwinton. Carnaval Canalla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafim Pacheco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Primitivo Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Casinha booed when Carnaval Canalla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Qwinton came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Casinha's Gentil Calado. But to his dismay, Gentil Calado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 77th minute, Juliano Vilas Boas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Casinha's zone, Felix Lekubegi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgílio Amado came out of the goal and Felix Lekubegi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, SC Casinha's Gentil Calado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Qwinton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 91st minute Primitivo Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Amado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gastão Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Felix Lekubegi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Carnaval Canalla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Lekubegi couldn't finish the play. The SC Casinha players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
