The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Bozkir booed when Grosse Pointe Farms was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedric Ledbetter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nazmi Dilazad struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Benito Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozkir. After some careless play in the Bozkir defense, Len Springer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okanalp Eronat. The Bozkir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okanalp Eronat should have stopped the shot. Len Springer succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Bozkir's goal looked a bit too open when Len Springer came free, but Okanalp Eronat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Alaaddin Kutsalmis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bozkir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 21 played minutes Bozkir got a freekick which was hit by Rüstem Toralp. In the 23rd minute, Len Springer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Okanalp Eronat. The goal made the score 3-1. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Grosse Pointe Farms getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Diego Thorne hit a great ball. Behzat Akkaya made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Grosse Pointe Farms's Diego Thorne. Okanalp Eronat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Len Springer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 34 minute of play. After 39 minutes, Cedric Ledbetter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grosse Pointe Farms and the Bozkir players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nazmi Dilazad was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Okanalp Eronat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Len Springer made the kick off in the second half. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serhat Eğriöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Bozkir got a freekick which was hit by Serhat Eğriöz. In the 64th match minute, Bozkir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şamil Uğursay to maneuver through the defense. Okanalp Eronat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Len Springer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, Bozkir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kılıçalp Uluhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Grosse Pointe Farms was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanner Vance to maneuver through the defense. Okanalp Eronat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len Springer in the 74th minute of the match. Okanalp Eronat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len Springer in the 78th minute of play. Grosse Pointe Farms's Kyle Whitmore got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Len Springer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Okanalp Eronat came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Grosse Pointe Farms's Kyle Whitmore. But to his dismay, Kyle Whitmore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Bozkir's Okanalp Eronat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Springer in the 92nd minute of play. Okanalp Eronat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanh Rhoades, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Grosse Pointe Farms were the better team. Grosse Pointe Farms's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
